This project is run by volunteers. Our customers do not pay for counseling
- people of all ages who have suffered from the consequences of the war
- people who are currently in the Ukraine and need psychological support
- people forced to leave the Ukraine because of the war
- host families where Ukrainians live or plan to live
- cases of witnessing traumatic events (grief, loss)
- flashbacks (intrusive memories, experiences) - a psychological phenomenon in which a person has sudden, usually strong, repeated experiences of a past experience or elements of it.
- difficulties of moving to another country and adaptation in a new country
- if a person lives outside Ukraine and has received news of the death of loved ones
- childhood fears, crankiness, aggression related to the traumatic experience of war and moving to another country
- Conflicts with the host family
- Crisis counselling (5-7 meetings), as a result of which clients work through traumatic events with the psychologist and gain experience in applying psychological technologies aimed at reducing the consequences of stress and trauma
- At the end of counselling, the client can use the experience gained to stabilise his/her psychological state and mood.
Due to the large number of people in need of crisis help, we cannot offer our customers long-term counseling and/or psychotherapy.
In case a person's condition requires long-term work with a psychologist (psychotherapy), we will look for a solution and try to help the customer find a psychotherapist who can continue working with him/her
